Extralink Patchcord LAN network cable - 5 metres
Extralink Patchcord LAN is a 5-metre network cable made of copper. A LAN patchcord is a basic element of computer networks operating in the Ethernet standard. It is used to directly connect two active devices, such as a router or switch, so that data can be transmitted between them. It is also used to connect computers or VoIP phones to structured cabling and to make connections between patch panels in telecommunications cabinets. It works perfectly in both large and small computer networks. The shielded Extralink patchcord is highly flexible, which translates into easy installation and comfortable use.
The shielded category 5e FTP patchcord by Extralink is terminated with shielded, gold-plated RJ45 plugs. It is made from a four-core twisted-pair cable of pure copper, making it possible to power network devices in the PoE standard.
