Single-mode patchcord with a length of 0.5m, cable diameter of 3mm, terminated with LC/UPC-LC/UPC connectors is used to connect optical network equipment such as switches or converters. G652D fiber dedicated to 10Gbps systems, wavelength is from 1310nm, bending radius of 30mm. Patchcords are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT devices.
