This single-mode patchcord is 25 meters long, 3 mm in diameter, and is terminated with SC/APC-SC/APC connectors. It is used for connecting optical networking equipment such as switches or converters. Patchcords are also widely used in FTTH networks to connect OLT and ONU/ONT type devices. These cables have a LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) material classification, which means that their sheathing is made of thermoplastic or thermosetting compounds, which under the influence of high temperature emit only a limited amount of smoke and do not emit halogen.
